01/21/2026
Dar Al Ber Society has announced the launch of an exceptional and expanded Ramadan campaign for the holy month of Ramadan in the year 1447 AH (2026), starting from yesterday, Tuesday. The campaign’s charitable projects and initiatives will extend across the United Arab Emirates and 24 countries worldwide, supporting nearly 1.7 million beneficiaries.
The Society continues its efforts to attract donations and charitable contributions in support of the campaign by opening wide avenues for giving to philanthropists and charitable individuals, whether citizens or residents of the UAE, as well as public and private sector institutions across the country—reaffirming its humanitarian mission and commitment to the values of solidarity and compassion embodied by Ramadan.
This campaign aligns with the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership and the nation’s policies aimed at strengthening charitable and humanitarian work, enhancing its role in meeting the needs of the most vulnerable groups, and achieving a sustainable humanitarian impact at both local and international levels.
Mr. Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, affirmed that the Ramadan campaign sets ambitious humanitarian goals aimed at supporting low-income families and individuals during Ramadan, both inside and outside the UAE. This includes providing essential food supplies, living necessities, and financial assistance.
Campaign Budget
Al Falasi stated that the estimated total cost of the campaign’s seasonal projects and initiatives this year is AED 10 million, including AED 7 million for projects within the UAE and AED 3 million allocated for international projects.
A Comprehensive Package of Ramadan Projects
Al Falasi explained that Dar Al Ber Society’s seasonal Ramadan package includes a range of prominent charitable initiatives distributed across several projects. The most notable of these is the Iftar Meals Project, which will benefit 350,000 fasting individuals within the UAE, at a cost of AED 3.5 million. The Society will distribute 11,600 meals daily across 27 locations in Dubai, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah.
The campaign also includes an International Iftar Project, benefiting 661,188 fasting individuals at a cost of AED 1 million, through the distribution of cooked meals or food baskets sufficient for an average of five people per basket.
As part of Zakat Al Fitr, Dar Al Ber Society has allocated an in-country initiative to support 48,000 beneficiaries at a cost of AED 1.2 million, while the international Zakat Al Fitr project is expected to assist 621,140 beneficiaries with an estimated budget of AED 1.8 million.
Dar Al Ber Society will also implement the Eid Clothing Project within the UAE to support 530 families, at a cost of AED 320,000. Additionally, Eid clothing will be distributed internationally to 33,327 beneficiaries at a cost of AED 170,000.
In addition, Dar Al Ber Society aims to distribute food baskets to 5,700 families as part of its seasonal Ramadan Food Supplies Program (Al Mir Al Ramadani) for families in need within the UAE, with a total value of AED 2 million, providing basic food items or purchase vouchers.
These initiatives are part of Al Ber Society’s ongoing efforts to ease the burden on vulnerable families and strengthen the spirit of social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.
Targets for Other Projects
Al Falasi also noted that the campaign brings together 12 additional charitable projects, which are implemented throughout the year and highlighted during the holy month of Ramadan. The Society mobilizes its full capacities and specialized teams to secure the required funding for these initiatives and translate them into tangible outcomes in the coming phases.
These projects include Zakah, mosque construction, medical support for low-income patients, relief and humanitarian programs, endowment initiatives, sacrificial donations, orphan care projects, scientific and educational programs, digging artesian wells, expiation projects, food basket distributions, and a range of other humanitarian support services.
Flexibility and Innovation

The Society consistently seeks innovative ideas and launches qualitative initiatives that contribute to advancing charitable work in the UAE. It also strengthens services provided to eligible beneficiaries, in line with the highest standards of excellence and efficiency, aiming to achieve a sustainable impact within the community.

He stressed that the Society mobilizes its resources, work teams, logistical capabilities, and extensive humanitarian experience to ensure the success of the Ramadan campaign, deliver a distinctive Ramadan edition this season, and achieve its community-focused charitable objectives—supporting fasting individuals, the poor, and those in need, while meeting their essential requirements.
